A Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP)^® is a recognized expert in identifying the business needs of an organization in order to determine business solutions.  CBAP^®s are acknowledged as competent individuals performing a role which is increasingly recognized as a vital component of any successful project.

This program has been carefully designed to be in compliance with the International Standards Organization (ISO) 17204 standard for certifying the competence of personnel.

International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)^® is the creator of certification CBAP® program. It is a professional, non –commercial organization, specialized in the area of Business Analysis. Its mission is to design and maintain standards of performance in the Business Analysis.

Certification candidates are not required to be IIBA^® members in order to take the certification examination. This certification program is targeted at intermediate and senior Business Analysts.
